Permission has been granted to convert the city centre’s  Martins Bank Building into a restaurant and social space with work expected to start shortly.  With a number of previous conversion proposals including a five star hotel not coming to fruition, MCS welcomes this positive development of one of the city’s grandest buildings which has lain empty since 2009 .
